MemoPart™O oclusor do defeito septal ventricular (VSD) é um dispositivo de oclusão de malha de nitinol de disco duplo autoexpansível. Os 2 discos são conectados por uma cintura curta que corresponde ao tamanho do defeito. Tecido de poliéster é costuradapara cada disco para garantir a oclusão. O dispositivo é visível sob raios-X.

O MemoPart™O oclusor VSD membrana é usado para o fechamento transcateter minimamente invasivo de defeitos do septo ventricular perimembranoso.
For muscular' ventricular septal defect:
O MemopartTM O oclusor muscular VSD é indicado para as seguintes indicações médicas:
1. Paciente com defeito septal ventricular complexo (CIV) de tamanho significativo que justifique fechamento (grande volume de shunt da esquerda para a direita, hipertensão pulmonar e/ou sintomas clínicos de insuficiência cardíaca congestiva).
2. Pacientes considerados de alto risco para fechamento cirúrgico transatrial ou transarterial padrão com base em condições anatômicas e/ou com base na condição médica geral. Fatores anatômicos de alto risco para fechamento cirúrgico transatrial ou transarterial incluem pacientes:
• Exigir ventriculotomia esquerda ou uma ventriculotomia direita extensa.
• Com um fechamento anterior VSD falhado.
• Com múltiplas VSD musculares apicais e/ou anteriores (“Swiss cheese septum”).
• Com VSD apicais posteriores recobertos por trabéculas.
